I'm a big kid at heart...
AND THAT'S MY SECRET WEAPON

I don't need your kids to "behave" or sit still or say cheese on command.
I just need them to play. To explore. To be exactly who they are.
Because here's what I know after photographing hundreds of Sutherland Shire families:
Real kids having real fun create the most beautiful photos.

Kind Words

Hey, I'm Jodie
I’m a family photographer in the Sutherland Shire and I’m here for the fun stuff. Kids climbing all over you, sandy feet, snack breaks every five minutes. You just hang out with your crew while I quietly grab the good bits.

I’ve lived in the Shire forever, so I know all the good spots: the tucked-away beaches, the quiet corners, the places your kids can go full volume without an audience. And I’m a mum to a very energetic toddler plus two bonus girls, so nothing your kids do is going to throw me.
Sessions stay light, fun and a bit messy in that way family life just… is.

Jodie is the go to Sutherland Shire family photographer for the real families the ones who'd choose muddy puddles over matching outfits, sunrises over sleep-ins, and memories over perfection.
Zero Pressure.
Zero Rush.
All the Magic.
Not the forced smiles.
Not the stiff poses.
Not the "everyone look here!"
But the running, splashing, exploring, hand-holding, racing, laughing moments.
That's what you'll frame. That's what you'll treasure in 20 years.
And if it takes 35 minutes for them to warm up?
That's okay.
We've got all the time in the world.

I keep things easy, light, and stress free even if your toddler is running wild or the baby’s having an off day. We’ll go with the flow and make it fun for everyone.

Stop hiding behind the camera, Mum
You know how you’ve got 400 photos of the kids from last weekend but exactly zero of you? I get it. Someone’s always the designated photographer and it’s usually you.

And yes, I’ve heard every reason. “Not today.” “Hair’s a mess.” “Let’s focus on the kids.” All valid. Also… your kids don’t care. They just want you in the story with them.

They’re going to look back one day and want to see the mum who loved them, not just the top of your head as you fiddle with Portrait mode.

So when we shoot, you’re getting in the frame. Gently. Casually. Comfortably. Nothing forced. Just you being you with your little people.
